The Edmonton Rocketry Club (ERC) is dedicated to the promotion of model rocketry as a hobby and our members (all ages welcome!) enjoy building and safely launching rockets of all sizes and power classes. We also provide guidance & experience to those wanting to enter the world of high-powered rocketry.

Ever want to build a rocket and learn what makes them go? We have various levels of model rockets that we can help you build and then help you launch them.

Depending on the weather, members of the ERC will also be demonstrating some of their larger rockets on Saturday October 21, 2023.

Come join us at our Jasper Rocketry Lab located at the Old Fire Hall (414 Patricia Street) Friday October 20, 2023 activities: Large display of rockets of various sizes and designs, including our 9-foot/50-pound ERC Club Rocket!

Rocket Building sessions Friday evening and Saturday morning from 9:00 am- 12:00 pm. You can then join us at Commemoration Park and launch your rocket Saturday from 1:00 pm – 5:30 pm!

Rocket kits and motors will be available for sale.

All rocket launches will be held at Commemoration Park on Saturday October 21 between 1:00 pm and 5:30 pm
